Turn off pc while updating
Windows 10 automatically checks for, downloads and installs new updates to your PC -- whether you like it or not.
This new feature is actually pretty convenient for most users, but not everyone wants their operating system updated on Microsoft's schedule.

Hi, I just allowed my console to download a 430 MB update while my Internet speed is throttled.(stupid me)It would take hours to download, and I want to know if I can just turn off the console and free up my TV without harming the system. If you just want to free up your TV, just switch the hdmi cables so its straight from your cable box to the tv and then switch inputs with your remote. Yes, it's alright for your Xbox One to just stay on like that for hours during an update. It's NOT a good idea to shut it off during an update and you can end up permanently bricking (Also known as "murdering") your Xbox One if you do so.
As long as you don't have a good reason to turn it off then I would keep it on standby.
The system isn't made to endure constant cold boots much like a high end PC.
And, while the the recent Wanna Cry ransomware does not (thus far) appear to affect Windows 10, you need to make sure your PC is kept up-to-date with security patches to avoid exactly those sort of attacks.
It can also be used to configure email syncing with Microsoft Outlook and also backup and restore the data on your Samsung phone.
When you see this message on your Samsung device, you shouldn’t panic as it is a minor problem that can be fixed easily and thankfully, Samsung has already given you a hint as to how you can fix it; using Samsung’s Smartswitch PC Software.
The Samsung Smartswitch formerly know as Kies is a software for Samsung devices that can be used for a lot of stuff.
The most obvious -- albeit laborious -- solution is to install updates at times when it's convenient for you.
If your main issue with Windows 10's automatic updates is the fact that your PC restarts at inopportune times, you're in luck: Windows 10 allows you to schedule restarts for a specific time.
